Privacy Policy

Last updated 2 September 2026

This policy covers lightstacksolutions.com, run by LightStack Solutions in London, United Kingdom. It explains what we collect when you visit the site or get in touch, and what we do with it. The apps we build for clients have their own privacy policies.

What we collect

  • When you book a call. Booking runs through Calendly, which asks for your name, email address and anything you choose to write in the notes. Calendly's own privacy policy applies to how it processes that booking.
  • When you email us. We keep your email and its contents so we can reply and, if we end up working together, for the life of that project.
  • When you browse. Our host, Netlify, records standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not set cookies of our own.

How we use it

To reply to you, to prepare for and follow up on a call, and to scope and deliver work you ask us to do. We do not sell or share your details for marketing, and we do not send newsletters.

Who else sees it

Calendly (booking), Netlify (hosting) and our email provider, each to the extent needed to provide their service. We do not pass your details to anyone else unless you ask us to or the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that go nowhere are deleted within twelve months. Client correspondence is kept for six years after a project ends, in line with UK record-keeping expectations.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email contact@lightstacksolutions.com and we will respond within a month. If you are not happy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
